MS Track had an awesome weekend!
This past Saturday the MS track team travelled to Lusk to compete. There were some new Prs and THREE new middle school records. The boys placed SECOND as a team!

Individual Results:
John Cohee- 3rd place in the 400m dash, 9th place in the high jump, 6th in the triple jump.
Waylon Davis- 1st place in the discus setting a new MS record, 2nd in the shot put.
Wyatt Davis- 1st place in the shot put setting a new MS record, 3rd in the discus.
Clayton Richendifer- 1st place in the long jump setting a new MS record, 2nd in the high jump tying the MS record, 5th in the 200.
Henry Hamilton- 2nd place in the 200 hurdles, 9th in the high jump.
Bridger Richendifer- 3rd place in the long jump, 8th in the 200.
Beau Perry- 4th place in the 1600, 6th in the 200 hurdles, 9th in the long jump.
Dusty Forbes - 10th place in the 200 hurdles.
Lucas Mondeau- 9th place in the 200 hurdles.
*MS records starting in 2023.

KC track fans. The MS track team will now be going to Lusk tomorrow the 25th. Bus leaves the school at 5:00am

The MS track meet that was scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday the 25th has been canceled due to weather.

The Kaycee MS/HS track meet that was scheduled for tomorrow April 24th has been canceled do the weather. We are hoping to reschedule it on May 8th

The Kaycee HS Track Team traveled to Upton on Friday with 3 athletes while the rest of the team was at the state FFA Convention. Here are the results:

KCS TESTING WEEK

Middle school track traveled to Upton and had another great weekend of competition. There were more PR’s, SEVEN new middle school records with many top 10 finishes on Friday.
7th grade division:
Ember Perry- 6th in high jump, 8th in triple jump.
Romina Ortega-Chavez- 6th in shot put, 3rd in discus with a new MS record.
Clayton Richendifer- 3rd in the 200 meter dash and new MS record, 2nd in high jump, 2nd in long jump and new MS record.
Bridger Richendifer- 6th in the 200 meter dash, 5th in high jump, 4th in long jump.
Henry Hamilton- 10th in the 200 meter dash, 4th in high jump, 8th in long jump.
Beau Perry- 3rd in the 800 meter run, 1st in the 200 meter hurdles with a new MS record.
Russell Firnekas- 10th in the shot put.
Matthew Davis- 7th in discus.
Dusty Forbes- 3rd in the 200 meter hurdles.

The 4x100 relay team was 1st with a new MS record. Team members: Bridger Richendifer, Henry Hamilton, Russell Firnekas and Clayton Richendifer.

The 800 medley relay team was 3rd. Team members: Dusty Forbes, Russell Firnekas, Beau Perry, Joe Brock.

8th Grade Division:
Emory Forbes- 6th in the 100 hurdles, 3rd in the 200 Meter hurdles.
Kendra Geis- 5th in the 200 meter dash, 8th in the long jump.
John Cohee- 2nd in high jump, 4th in the triple jump with a new MS record.
Waylon Davis- 6th in the shot put, 3rd in the discus.
Wyatt Davis- 3rd in the shot put with a new MS record and 8th in the discus.
The girls 800 sprint medley team was 2nd. Team members: Emory Forbes, Kendra Geis, Payton Overman, Ember Perry.
