In honor of Read Across America Week, Mrs. Graves hosted elementary students and secondary ELA students for some Hawaiian themed reading and writing.




Attention, Agents! Our Book Blast event starts next week. We will set off on a mission to build our students' home libraries. Follow the steps on the Treasure Map coming home next week to embark on this operation to earn exciting prizes and books. 🗺️🌟

KCS Engineering Week. - Jim Harlan was here earlier this week to celebrate Engineering week with our 3rd grade class. They came up with some great ways to get animals safely across a highway. As always, thank you to the University of Wyoming for setting this up!

The MSBB game for this evening has been canceled.

Youth Basketball for grades K-3 will begin on March 3 and continue on Tuesdays through April 21 (excluding Spring Break) at the HJP. Please sign up your players on Kaycee Kids on Facebook or by calling or texting 307-431-2589.
Next week is National FFA Week. Dress up days are as follows:

Due to road closures, Kaycee School will be having a 2 hour late start today 2/19. We will update if there are any changes
Congratulations to 5th grader Beau Perry for winning first place at the Johnson County Spelling Bee. He will be eligible to represent Kaycee School and Johnson County at the State Spelling Bee in Rock Springs. In addition to Beau, Payton Overman and Wyatt Davis tied for 5th and 6th place and will compete in a spell-off this week. The winner will also be able to participate in the state bee.

The Johnson Co. Library would like to invite all LEGO builders to participate.
