We will be holding the meeting in our gym and all are welcome. We will have a short survey that you can participate in at the end of the forum. Good Morning, Next Week WYTOPP and ACT testing will be held on the 20th and 21st. Seniors with passing grades are released for April 20th and will not be expected to be at school. Juniors will be released on the 20th after Completing ACT Testing. On April 21st Juniors and Seniors will be touring Casper College. Dear Parents/Guardians, The Johnson County school board voted Thursday night to approve and implement the revised Smart Start Plan for the school. The major change is the wording of masks are recommended and not required. All other aspects of the plan are the same. For instance, if your child is sick or showing any signs of being sick, keep them home. The district will still be requiring extra sanitation by students and staff when entering and leaving a classrooms. We are hopeful that the county will not see an increase in COVID cases.. If we do, the district may be forced or mandated to go back to requiring masks. Please do your part in staying clean and safe as we finish up the school year. It is expected by everyone to respect those who choose to continue wearing masks and those who choose not to wear masks.

Students and staff are still expected to wear masks tomorrow. Administration will be reviewing the smart start plan for changes and notifying parents over the spring break of the changes. School board approved administration to make changes tonight at the special board meeting.

Kaycee Families, The HSBB & GB games scheduled for today against Midwest have been canceled. There will be no JHBB practice today & their games on Friday against Tongue River & Big Horn & Saturday against Buffalo have been canceled. We will let you know about HS games on Saturday as soon as we know. As far as rescheduling canceled games, this will be determined at a later date. Kaycee Families, Due to the extreme forecasted weather, we will not be running busses or having school in person on Thursday. ALL students will be doing virtual classes or their teachers will send them home with work that needs to be done tomorrow. Your children will be sent home with a breakfast & lunch if they choose. All travel for activities Thursday & Friday are cancelled & currently in the process of being re-scheduled. Thank you for your patience & please stay warm!

Dear parents, Due to the extreme forecasted weather, Johnson County School District will not be running route buses on Thursday and Friday. School will be in session for all students who can attend and for parents who can bring their children to school. For parents who are unable to bring their children in to school, the schools will be sending devices home with your children to do school virtually, if you have internet access. If your child needs lunches provided from school during the next two days, please contact Ricci Sanders at 620-9206 by noon today, to let her know so she can send home the lunches. We are doing this to ensure the safety of our students.

Good Chilly Afternoon, As you may have heard our building was cold this morning. Here is an update on the heating situation at the school. This morning our boilers were down and we had to restart the system. We started school with a building temp of 60 degrees. We are now at 67 degrees and climbing. We will be running the boilers at full capacity through the evening to prevent the building from cooling down. We thank you for your patience as we endure the cold.
