JCSD#1 is looking for a hardworking individual to work in our "food warehouse" to fill the food orders for the schools, deliver them to the Buffalo schools each day & to restock the shelves with the bi-weekly delivery trucks. This position requires you to be on your feet for most of the shift, significant lifting of up to 50 pounds several times each day, attention to detail and time management. Students in some of Mrs. Maxwell's ELA classes had the opportunity to have a Zoom conversation with Rae Goldfarb, a Holocaust survivor from Poland. We were able to ask questions and listen to her talk about her experiences as a young child living in a ghetto in her hometown, going into hiding, cooking for the Resistance, and more.
