Hello BHS Families,
Next week we will begin our semester finals!! Semester finals begin on Wednesday and run through Friday. Students will need to report to their testing periods on the attached schedule. Please note that our day begins at 8:30 promptly on Wednesday and Thursday, and at 10am on Friday. Each day has a built-in makeup testing period. These makeup periods are not mandatory however are in place to allow students additional time if needed. If your child has a need to take an exam early please have them arrange the time and date with their teacher. Please feel free to reach out if you happen to have any questions.

One of the best things of the holiday season is the BHS Christmas Concert. The audience was blessed with performances from the jazz band, percussion, concert band, treble choir, Balladiers, and everyone together. Congratulations to teachers, Frank Harding and Skylah Bree and accompanist Marcie Leis for a beautiful concert.

CONGRATULATIONS to Buffalo High School senior Bailey Howe on signing her National Letter of Intent to attend Lake Region State College in North Dakota. Bailey will be a member of the Lady Royals Softball Team. Go Bison and Go Lady Royals!!

Buffalo Student Council was represented well at the annual State Student Council Convention (WASC) November 17-18 in Cheyenne hosted by Cheyenne Central High School. Buffalo student leaders participated in and executed leadership workshops while building relationships with students and other councils across Wyoming. There were over 1000 students across Wyoming who attended this event this year! We are very proud of our two students who ran for state offices, Addison Bettinger and Quentin Agyemang. Special shoutout to our friend in Kaycee, Cruz Garcia, who won Vice President on the state student board! Buffalo StuCo received Honor Council with Meritorious Distinction (highest honors) for 2024-2025. Congratulations to Dovelynn Martinson for receiving All State Student Council and Baylee Strong for receiving the Hidden Hero Award! Well done, BHS StuCo!

Buckle Up For Safety! Student Council works to remind students to buckle up. BHS was rewarded with a surprise if they were wearing their seat belt.
