Lady Bison Volleyball vs Wright - Friday, September 11 @ 2/3 pm (JV/V). Pre-approved tickets directly from the players are required at the door. Current SPECTATOR GUIDELINES allow BHS to distribute guest lists for 2 tickets per visiting player and 4 tickets per Lady Bison player, as well as 25 student section tickets. Dear parents/guardians: JCSD#1 will be taking part in the USDA extended waiver by offering ALL in person & virtually enrolled JCSD#1 students FREE meals (breakfast & lunch), through December 31, 2020. This will begin Monday, September 14th and will follow the school calendar for both Buffalo and Kaycee. All virtual students that wish to eat school breakfast &/or lunch will need to sign up in advance by contacting Ricci Sanders at 307-620-9206, M-Th between 8am-4:30pm. The process for meal pickup will be communicated when you sign up. On January 1, 2021 all lunch statuses will revert back to what they are as of September 11th, unless an updated and approved application is submitted before December 31st. Therefore, I still need to be collecting Free and Reduced Lunch applications. Approved applications also help fund our schools in other ways. So please get those turned into me if you have not done so after July 1, 2020. If your student has a negative lunch balance please take this opportunity to get that caught up so that he/she begins with a zero balance in January. If you have any questions, please give me a call! The JV Football game against Torrington scheduled for Tuesday, September 8 in Casper has been cancelled due to forecasted weather and road conditions. There will be no reschedule w/ Torrington, but other opportunities are being explored as a replacement game this week. Communication will go out if something comes available. Be safe and GO BISON!

Lady Bison Volleyball vs Powell on Saturday, September 5 @ 1/2/3 pm. SPECTATOR GUIDELINES COVID-19: Tickets are required at the door for attendance. Powell will receive 2 tickets per player and Buffalo will receive 4 tickets per player. Up to 25 student section tickets have been handed out. Masks will be REQUIRED at all times during the event. Fans are asked to social distance from other families and respect current guidelines. Thank you for showing respect for the guidelines while attending this event. Lady Bison & Bison Cross Country are hosting multiple meets on Saturday, September 5 - catch our BHS runners beginning at 12:00 pm vs teams from Cody, Powell, Riverton, & Sheridan. The course will start/finish from the Buffalo Athletic/Baseball Complex and utilize the Clear Creek Trail System. SPECTATOR GUIDELINES COVID-19: Fans are asked to practice social distancing while at the start/finish and along the course. When social distancing cannot be maintained, fans are asked to wear a face covering. Thank you for supporting the guidelines at this event - GO BISON!

JV Bison Football vs Lovell - Saturday, September 5 @ 10:00 am. SPECTATOR GUIDELINES - COVID-19 Visiting spectators are asked to enter thru the East gate and sit in the visitor bleachers. Bison spectators are asked to enter thru the West gates and sit in the home bleachers. ALL fans are asked to practice social distancing and sit with family members - 6 feet away from other families/fans. When social distancing cannot be maintained, ALL spectators are asked to wear a face covering. Thank you for respecting the guidelines and GO BISON!

Good Morning Bison Football Fans, The Varsity football game tonight vs Newcastle is now CANCELLED. This week Newcastle has been dealing with many uncertainties and precautions in relation to COVID-19. Most recent developments from last night and this morning has forced the decision to cancel tonight’s game. The JV football game tomorrow at 10:00 am vs Lovell is scheduled as normal.

COVID-19 Spectator Guidelines: In compliance w/ current local and state guidelines, BHS will be limiting spectators to PARENTS ONLY for this week 1 match. We ask parents to sit in families and maintain social distancing - when social distancing cannot be maintained, masks will be required during the event and at entry/exit of the building. Please enter thru the front doors. We are excited to be playing at home in week 1 and ask all fans to respect the current guidelines in place for this event. COVID-19 Spectator Guidelines - in compliance w/ current local and state guidelines for outdoor events, BHS will be asking visiting fans to enter thru the East gate and sit in the East bleachers. Bison fans are asked to enter thru either West gate and sit in the West bleachers. Spectators are asked to respect the social distancing guidelines and sit as families - 6 feet and spaced from other families. When social distancing cannot be maintained, masks will be required. Thank you for understanding and supporting these COVID-19 guidelines as we welcome the start of the 2020 Bison Football season for our student-athletes. Lady Bison Swimming & Diving vs Lander/Newcastle - Friday, August 28 @ 2:00 pm. COVID-19 Spectator Guidelines - In compliance w/ current state and local guidelines and the size of the facility, spectators will be limited to PARENTS ONLY w/ masks required at the YMCA Pool. During these unusual times, it is more important than ever to support our Lady Bison student-athletes by complying with the guidelines. We are excited to be back in the pool and for the opportunity to host a meet to start the season. Thank you for understanding and supporting these COVID-19 changes in order for our teams to have a season. GO BISON!

Please see the following update from our Public Health Officer: Because of some confusion about the use of face masks and face shields at JCSD1, Dr. Schueler has now clarified by stating that masks only are allowed per Public Health Order #10. Face Shields will not be a substitute unless in the exempted cases outlined in the order. Dr. Schueler states that there is growing evidence that face shields do protect against COVID-19, but until the state and local public health offices approve of face shield use in the schools, Johnson County Schools should use face coverings or facemasks, and not face shields.

BHS Band 2020--Bison Marching Band brought their camp to BHS this year and are excited to present their show, Conspiracy Theory. The band will present their showcase on Mike Moon Field at 6PM on August 31. Join the band for a $5 BBQ and listen to great music.
