CONGRATULATIONS to Buffalo High School senior, Jeremiah Hawley, for his 3A State Championshp in LD Debate at the 2024 WHSAA State Speech & Debate Tournament held in Cheyenne last weekend. Jeremiah was also 2nd overall in LD Debate in all classes combined and is a World Schools National Qualifier. Juniors Heather Rozema and Sam Saulness were also National Qualifiers earlier this season at the Hole in the Wall District Tournament in Cheyenne - Congratulations and Go Bison!

Nine BHS students attended the state wide Poetry Out Loud competition. Our students participated in three poetry workshops, an open mic recitation at The Hawthorne Tree, and they toured the state capitol with Representative Crago. Three students finished in the top places in the state.

STATE CHAMPION! Congratulations to Lady Bison senior, Carly Norman, for winning the state championship in the 55m Hurdles at the 2024 3A Indoor Track & Field State Championships this past weekend in Gillette. Carly's time of 8.44 is a new Class 3A State Record and school record! Carly also earned All-State honors from the Wyoming Coaches Association - Go Bison!
Bison Basketball earned the #2 seed from the East after a loss 48-65 loss to Douglas in the championship game at the 3A East Regional Championships in Rawlins this past weekend.
