During our final Spring Band Concert, band director Teresa Preisner, celebrated our seniors. We wish them the best as they graduate and head to their next adventures!!

The Music Department hosted a beautiful Spring Concert with a mix of upbeat and soothing selections. The Concert Band, the Jazz Band, and the Percussion performed amazing. Congratulations Bands and Ms Preisner!!




The Culinary Arts class provided the amazing refreshments for the UW Signing Days. Attendees enjoyed a variety of six different speciality cakes. Congratulations students and Chef Sam!!


Buffalo High School was proud to host the University of Wyoming as they came to celebrate the seniors in the Class of 2024 who will be attending UW in the Fall of 2024. Eighteen seniors participated in the signing day.


Basketball Camp at BHS!


Congratulations to our SKILLS USA Chapter at their State Leadership Conference. With five new members and senior Hutson Bowe, they had a great experience. While we send Hutson on to his next life's adventures, the underclassmen are excited to use this experience to be ready for next year. Congrats members and Advisor Ryan Rivera!


Congratulations to our thespians who performed Our Place. The spring play was a big success! Well done to these students and congratulations to play director, Kadelyn Burd.


Congratulations to FBLA Advisor Kami Kennedy! She was named Advisor of the Year from Wyoming! Thank you, Mrs Kennedy, for the passion of business you instill in our BHS students.


Congratulations to our FBLA National LifeSmarts team! The team finished 10th in the nation at the national competition in San Diego. Special congratulations to Jeremiah, who was the national champion in Technology! Congrats to Emma, Kevin, Jeremiah, Kevin, and advisor Kami Kennedy!




The BHS SAVE organization had the opportunity to share with elementary students ways to take care of our great big beautiful world. Students Against Violation of the Earth taught young children how they can help make a difference. Spring Fling Dress Up Days always bring good fun! Leading the way was Brady, Carly, Grace, and Ryan as they dressed as the actors from Suits, the tv show. The senior girls, Anna, Emma, Erin, Cora, and Olivia colored the day fun. Teachers Mrs Wages, Mrs Blaney, Ms Hancock, and Mrs Hetland loved the opportunity to come to school in their pjs on Pajama Day.




The final spirit week of the 2023-24 school year was held to celebrate the Spring activities at BHS. Student Council officers Maddie Ann and Kenley organized the entertainment of the Spring Fling pep assembly and had the student body engaged in many fun activities. The seniors took the opportunity to take the stage and lead their final school song.



The annual swing dance day, held during Spring Fling Week, was a great way for students to take a break from the classroom on Friday. Thanks English department for providing time to learn an essential Wyoming skill.







Buffalo High School's Art Department has 48 students compete in the 56th Annual Art Symposium at the Casper Ford Wyoming Center. Our 48 students showed 124 pieces and they brought home 29 ribbons.
The highlight of the symposium was the selection of Jo James' print which was selected for a Congressional Award. Only twenty five 2D works of the 4,721 were selected. Congratulations to our talented art students and their instructor, Steve Heil.


Congratulations to BHS art student, Joanna James, whose monoprint named "Tranquility" was selected to hang in our state Congresswomen’s office in D.C. for the next year. Only four students from Wyoming had their work selected to hang in Washington, DC. Her beautiful work was created in Steve Heil's printmaking class. Congratulations to both of you!


Congratulations to the Vet Science team from our Buffalo FFA! Riley Klasinski, Kade Benton, Lane Boden, and Emma Pehringer were the
Reserve Champion at the State FFA Convention. Congratulations Team and Coach Boden!!


Golden Hour! The 2024 Prom at Buffalo High School will take place tonight - Saturday, April 27. Exterior doors will open at 6:00 pm for gathering and pictures in the BHS Commons. Interior doors to the BHS Gymnasium will open at 6:30 pm for seating, with the Grand March to follow at 7:00 pm. The dance is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm and doors will close at 9:00 pm.
