SPEAK WITH GOOD PURPOSE – Speak honestly and kindly
Think before you speak. Make sure your intention is positive and your words are sincere.
3rd: Reid Odenbach- I am proud to nominate Reid for the key of Speak with Good Purpose. He is the kind of student who may be quiet at first glance, but his words carry meaning, kindness, and intention. When he chooses to speak, it is always thoughtful and appropriate. He knows when others need encouragement and is quick to remind classmates that mistakes are part of learning and nothing to be ashamed of.
He treats himself with that same grace—when he slips up, he doesn’t get discouraged; instead, he models a positive mindset by calmly trying again most often with a smile on his face. His quiet confidence and gentle spirit help create a safe, welcoming classroom environment where others feel comfortable being themselves.
He consistently uses his words to uplift, support, and reassure. Whether he’s helping a friend, offering a kind reminder, or simply being a positive presence, he demonstrates the true meaning of speaking with good purpose. His actions and words make our classroom a brighter place every single day.
4th: Lucy Hagge- It is my honor to present this month’s Speak With Good Purpose award to someone who truly embodies what it means to use our words to uplift, encourage, and inspire—Lucy Hagge.
Lucy is one of those rare individuals whose presence alone makes a room feel lighter. She is kind-spirited, humble, and a genuinely wonderful friend. Whether she realizes it or not, she consistently builds up the people around her. Anyone who spends time with Lucy can’t help but become a little kinder, a little more thoughtful, and a little more mindful of the power our words have.
Her positive attitude is absolutely contagious. It doesn’t shout for attention—it simply shines. Lucy leads by example, showing us that real leadership doesn’t always need to be loud. Her quiet strength, her encouragement, and her thoughtful perspective make our classroom a brighter, more welcoming place every single day.
Lucy, thank you for reminding us that words matter, and that speaking with good purpose isn’t just about what we say—it’s about who we choose to be. We are so proud to recognize you as the November recipient of the 8 Keys of Excellence: Speak With Good Purpose award. Congratulations, Lucy!
5th: Luke Wampole: I am proud to recognize Luke Wampole as fifth grade’s 8 Keys Award winner for “Speak With Good Purpose.” Although Luke is new to our school, he has already made a remarkable impact on our community. From the very first day, Luke has shown what it truly means to use words to uplift, encourage, and support others.
Luke never has a negative word to say to anyone or about anyone. Instead, he chooses kindness—every time. Whether he is working with classmates, greeting teachers, or interacting with peers in the hallways, Luke consistently uses positive language that makes others feel valued and welcome. His genuine respect for everyone around him sets an inspiring example of how a leader should be.
Luke’s kindness doesn’t just brighten someone’s day—it helps build a stronger, more caring school community. We are grateful to have him here this year, and we are proud to celebrate the positivity he brings to every space he enters.
Congratulations, Luke, on earning the Key of “Speak With Good Purpose.” Thank you for reminding us all of the power of kind and thoughtful words.
