Clear Creek students and staff assembled today to honor all veterans. Student council members led the student body in the Pledge of Allegiance and shared facts about the history of Veteran’s Day. Members of our Bandit band played the Star-Spangled Banner. The assembly wrapped up with the reading of a patriotic poem “Take a Moment to Thank a Veteran.
To honor veterans this year the Clear Creek student council constructed a Wall of Solidarity built from symbolic bricks. Students and staff were invited to honor veterans in their lives by dedicating a brick to them. Veterans name’s are on each and every brick. Our symbolic brick wall represents the strength of our nation by honoring all military men and women who stand strong to uphold the freedoms we enjoy today.
