The music trip the 8th graders have anxiously awaited! Both band and choir attended Music in the Parks in Denver over the weekend. They started their trip with the musical, “Little Shop of Horrors,” at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Students then performed at local high schools before enjoying an afternoon at Elitches.
Choir received superior ratings. Band received 1st place A category and Best Middle School Concert Band of this weekends festival. Great job to both groups!
