During the third quarter, 8th grade students studied the qualities of professional children's books during Mrs. Moon’s literacy class. The students read and analyzed children's books from multiple professional authors. After looking at several great examples, students spent several weeks writing and illustrating a book of their own. The students then shared their published work with students at Meadowlark Elementary School. Celebrate Literacy!
